Before we tie the knot, we’re throwing a pre-wedding Italian festa.
This is your chance to embrace your inner Italian stereotype, think Italian fashion houses, mafia boss, pizza chef, gondolier, Roman emperor, moviestar, Vespa-riding fashionista, or even a classic Italian nonna! The more over-the-top, the better! The best-dressed guest will win a fantastic prize!
Come hungry, come thirsty, and most importantly come ready to celebrate Italian style! Salute!

OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
The evening was warm, filled with the scent of fresh grass and wildflowers. The maypole stood tall in the village square, its ribbons swaying as laughter and music filled the air. Leksand on Midsummer’s Eve, 2012, felt like a dream, alive with tradition and the golden glow of a sun that never set.
And then our eyes met in the crowd, and in that moment, nothing else existed. It was as if fate had led us to each other. We talked and laughed, and with each word, the world around us disappeared.
As night fell, we wandered through the village, the sounds of fiddles and singing echoing in the distance. The sky deepened into twilight, painting us in silver and gold. That night, we shared stories and dreams, feeling as though we had always known one another.
It was a night we would never forget, the night our story began.
Fast forward to
Looking back on that magical Midsummer’s Eve, we could have never imagined the beautiful life we’d create. Today, we’re more in love than ever, surrounded by our two incredible children and the home we’ve built together. Every day, we feel grateful for the love we share, knowing this is only the beginning of our journey. What we’ve shared so far has surpassed our dreams, and now, we’re thrilled to finally say “I do” and continue this adventure as husband and wife.

Every great wedding needs a “dynamic” duo to keep things running smoothly.
Meet August & Tolle – your guides through this celebration!
August – Best man, younger brother to Carl, and the perfect mix of charm and mayhem. He knows Carl better than anyone so expect both heartwarming words and a few well-placed jokes.
Tolle – One of Carl’s oldest friends, practically a big brother. A little older, a little wiser (at least in theory), and always the center of a party.

We would love for everyone to stay together during the whole wedding weekend, which is why we have reserved Hotel Klockargården, where all the celebrations will take place.

Travel Information
Tällberg is a beautiful destination, and there are several ways to get there!
By Train: You can take a train directly to Tällberg Station, which is just a short ride from the venue. Trains run from major cities like Stockholm and Gothenburg — check SJ’s website for schedules and tickets.
By Car: If you're driving, Tällberg is easily accessible via E16 and Route 70. It’s about a 3-hour drive from Stockholm and 4.5 hours from Gothenburg. Parking is available at Klockargården.
By Air: The closest airport is Mora-Siljan Airport (MXX), about 1 hour away. Alternatively, you can fly into Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and take a train or rent a car for the journey to Tällberg.
